What ever happened to "My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." ---I think the liberal icon John Kennedy would be ashamed of what his country has turned into.
Yeah, the idea that the government is a tool that can make people's lives better is lost on the OP and Rand Paul. That's what you get when their core belief is that the government should do nothing and can't do anything constructive.

Yea the idea that government is the cause of our economic problems is lost on the big government loons.
You didn't watch the video or even read the article, if you had you would have noticed what Rand said about government instead of fraudulently accusing him. But scratching the surface like you do, it doesn't surprise me.

Except that the government isn't the cause of economic problems. It's part of the solution. We had strong regulation of banks and finance for 80 years and that prevented catastrophes. When we deregulated, the industry ran rampant with abuse that brought the economy to its knees. We used to have high taxes on the wealthy and a stronger safety net. This kept divergent income inequality in line. We relaxed those and we now have wide inequality.
If we left it up to Rand Paul, we wouldn't regulate anything and we'd have filthy air and water and wide employer abuse of workers.

Yea that was a great solution to increase the equity of the lower and middle class by manipulating the housing market. Anymore bright ideas sport?

One of the most if not the most regulated industry. A partial repeal that went back to the old rules. Why didn't it happen before? answer - because you are incorrect.
Almost every other first world country had the same rules as we did long before we changed back. Why didn't a collapse happen to them? answer - because you are incorrect.

Which hardly any of them paid because they make their money through investments which is taxed at a lower rate. Clinton lowers the capital gains tax and the economy improves.

Inequality grew because your big government clowns in Congress continued on the merry way with crony capitalism. Gee is it any wonder members of congress grew wealthier when the lower and middle class got wiped out?

Like I said and you continue to prove. You no little about what Ron Paul stands for and you didnt watch the video. He even talked about regulations in the video. You aren't interested in the truth.

Bull crap. If government didnt guarantee trillions of dollars in bad mortgages, then they wouldnt have made and the economy wouldnt have collapsed..
