This is BS. Let's put a sin tax on fast food and plus sized clothes (to tax the obese).
Legislating our habits, let's become the old East Germany.
The new Amerika comrades.

No worries, when people find ways around the tax like roll your own, those will be taxed too.

This is not a free country under any circumstances. Instead of actually cutting spending like responsible adults too, these jackass politicians with to tax us into slavery.

Well as it stands, I have started rolling my own, and it's saved a lot of money, but you're right...sooner or later they will find a way to tax that as well.

I quit 40+ years ago. If higher prices will reduce the use of this addictive chemical I support it. The proceeds should be used to fund Obama care as smokers provide a large proportion of lung cancer patients.

The rest of the addictive, but currently illegal, drugs should be legalized, standardized and taxed to pay for treatments as well. Why should the profits go to the smugglers instead of the government.

Government has been raising taxes on cigarettes for decades. Just because you never noticed before doesn't mean that it's new or different than under any other administration, GOP or Dem.

Oh, wait ... I know! It's because Obama is doing it that makes it different!

All righty then.

Hey, let's put a "high risk tax" on the purchase of powerboats, atvs, ski equipment, hiking and mountain climbing gear too.

The reason Obama gets singled out here is because he is a one trick pony.

Tax, tax, tax, tax, tax, tax, tax.
