Well, if the thing looks like a man, stands like a man, and p***es like a man, he should use the men's room.
As, like, above, so as, um, presumed, below, or something.
What if the "thing" (as you so disgustingly call her) is hormonally female, has breasts, dresses and presents herself as a female, but also has a penis (another poster pointed out that before having sex-reassignment surgery, one must live for 1 year as the other sex)?
It seems to me such a "thing" should be using the women's bathroom. Using the men's room seems more inappropriate to me.

Then, the thing should squat.
Squatters have responsibilities as well as rights.
Bottom line is that the store, as a privately operated business, can set certain rules in the way that they see fit. They can also refuse service to anyone, which there are signs posted in this aspect in many small businesses. e.g. "No shirt, no shoes, no service" etc.
in New York "emperor" Bloomberg will sue for this.
I've seen women with beards... I don't know how someone can claim someone is a gender until you've seen their parts... I mean.. there's MEN out there that look like men take testosterone supplements but downstairs have a vagina...believe me.. because I've met them...so.. I mean is the grocery store saying.. you look like a man in women's clothing.. so you need to use the men's bathroom? That's pretty bold for someone to say or draw the conclusion from.. it's like asking a fat woman when her baby is due.. only to be told.. "I'm not pregnant" I wouldn't go there.. it's shocking that someone did..because sometimes and many times you are wrong..
Allowing men to use the women's restroom is not a civil right. One who lives in glass houses.........
No, Genius #2, Genius #1 claimed: "Private Property they have the right to ban anyone for any reason." While they may be able to ban transgendered persons, they do not have the right to "ban anyone for any reason." One has to be particularly ignorant of basic civics to believe that in 2013.
Or we stick with two. Male and female. If your born a male your a frickin male and same with female. Stop scientifically changing your body.
I have a really hard time with taking orders and advice from illiterates.
In any case, every time you take an antibiotic, get a flu shot, take insulin or birth control pills or have surgery...you're "scientifically" changing your body. Problem?
