There isn't one. It was voted by "unanimous consent" which means nobody would come out against the proposal so it just passes without an actual vote.

Just more sleaziness. They all, each and every one voted for this.

And the President signed into law today.

Statement by the Press Secretary on S. 716 | The White House

Now do you see that it's really "them against us" ?
What we are shown is a big stinking dog and pony show, a farce.

Or do we need a few more unanimous bipartisan bills passed and signed ?
They've already done that with all expiring parts of the Patriot Act.

He could have vetoed it and didn't. I want to know how liberals feel about this?

About all of them will get voted back to Congress in 2014. Because people think it would be far worse its far worse upon the country to vote for a Republican to get rid of a Democrat. Or vote for a Democrat to get rid of a Republican.

The link indicates they removed the requirement for public disclosure of financial information, it does not remove them from being prosecuted from inside trading. The title of this thread is misleading, they did not repeal the law relative to insider trading this was an amendment, but yes I have to wonder exactly who is providing oversight since now it is private.

Yes, but as you note, nobody has ever provided oversight here. This was intended to provide transparency.

When you see the aide for Senator Joe investing in titanium and then Senator Joe comes out with legislature to give tax breaks to titanium miners, you knew something was up.

Now again, it's all hidden.
