Perhaps if we put prayer BACK into the public square, we would at least change some hearts and minds BEFORE a tragedy?
Or, STOP the "we'll pray for them" BS after a tragedy.
People are permitted to pray where they want. Is anyone preventing you from praying in public? I doubt it.
I doubt if the terrorist who set those bombs would have been swayed by people praying in public. It takes a special kind of evil to convince yourself that killing people is the way to further a cause.
People create their own god in times of tragedy. God is there always but most people don't want God around in everyday life . Just put God in a box and use him when they think fit..
It just doesn't work that way. God is ignored most of the time.
As God said. My people perish for lack of knowledge.
