Oklahoma had the Death Penalty.

I'm not familiar with the laws on how Federal penalties might trump state penalties.

If the Feds can legally do it, I hope they do.

I sometimes wonder about the IQ's of some people here not knowing that a "terrorist act" goes under the jurisdiction of the Feds not the states.

So this terrorist murderer they just caught, will be given room and board for the next 60 years.

Good work if you can get it. This guy found a way.

Room and board in a prison cell for the next 60 years.....wow that sounds like a luxury. Can you even imagine what that would be like. Your freedom is taken away forever. To me that is worse than death.

Federal law trumps state/territory law. This is why recently there have been several potential death penalty cases in US District Court of Puerto Rico (which like 27 other states/territories has abolished the death penalty). I suspect it is similar in Massachusetts.

Federal offenses go to federal court. Oklahoma law had nothing to do with the trial of Timothy McVeigh. His trial was in Colorado and he was executed in Indiana.

This case will be no different.

Can you be so kind as to post the respective law, decision or constitutional clause that states such a thing?

There is no way this guy will be tried in state court. This is a Federal capital offense

There is no penalty at all for an acquittal.
