Who would have imagined a couple folks who didn't have gun permits would have guns. I can't believe it myself. No word on whether they had bomb permits or not. Stupid liberals.
"CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts police official say the brothers suspected of bombing the Boston Marathon before having shootouts with authorities didn't have gun permits.
Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas tells The Associated Press in an interview Sunday that neither Tamerlan Tsarnaev (tsahr-NEYE'-ehv) nor his brother Dzhokhar had permission to carry firearms.
He says it's unclear whether either ever applied and the applications aren't considered public records.
But he says the 19-year-old Dzhokhar (joh-KHAR') would have been denied a permit because of his age. Only people 21 or older are allowed gun licenses in Massachusetts."
A very large amount are stolen in home invasions. Mexican gangs hang out at US gun ranges and wait until they see the hardware they like. Then follow the gunowners home. Later on they break in and force the owners to open a safe so they can steal the guns. Guns get shipped to Mexico.
I'd love to see the stats on the home invasions. But the kicker is you'll also need to come up with the stats for home invasion Mexican gangs scoping out people at the range in Arizona.
I live 10 miles from the boarder as the crow flies. We shoot at two different ranges, one is closer to Mexico, the other is on Post. We have Boarder Patrol agents here, a lot of them. I really doubt some Mexican gang is going to get near us. Hell they are headed for Tucson or Phoenix then on to CA. It's called "blending in". They aren't dumb.

Authorities on Long Island have busted more than a dozen alleged members of the Crips in what officials are calling the "most significant gang bust" in Nassau County history.
Cops and federal agents on Monday arrested 14 suspects believed to be members of the Rollin' 60s crew on charges of attempted murder, assault, robbery, gun sales, and drug sales, officials said. Authorities also busted four alleged associates of the gang.
"These arrests are a crushing blow to a notorious gang that has flooded the streets with guns, drugs, and violence for more than a decade," District Attorney Kathleen Rice said in a statement. "It's a shame to see so many young lives wasted, but our communities will be safer with these dangerous and violent criminals locked behind bars for a very long time."
