The press supports dangerous speech even though it most certainly caused the bombers to become more radical and also gave them the ideas how to build bombs. But they will not support the second amendment. So if free speech causes death, that's just the price of freedom but if a gun causes death, we need to get rid of it. LOL The left is looney.
What does a WELL REGULATED militia have to do with fighting against universal background checks, which help keep criminals and crazy people from easily and conveniently buying guns at shows and from privately advertised sales?

Unfortunately you are peeing into the wind to ask the OP that question.

The press did no such thing. Have you heard of the internet or do you live under a rock Do you want to know how to build a bomb or make meth or whatever..... The internet has it all, no press needed.

The 2nd Amendment does not say that the right is predicated on membership in a well regulated militia. The right is identified as "the right of the people."
Imagine if the 1st Amendment had been written as "a well-educated citizenry being necessary to the success of a democratic state, the right of the people to own and read books shall not be infringed." Would you interpret that as limiting the right to only people with diplomas? Compare that to the wording of the 2nd amendment--the construction is exactly parallel.
