i think these recruiters should just slip the cash under the doors of everybody. even if you dont deserve it, even bill gates should have a few 20's slipped under his door. forget the sweepstakes guy coming with the big check, now its the foodstamp recruiter......ill be back, somone just slipped money under my door. my vote has just been bought.

The fact that Food Stamps help feed people is incidental to the program. It was designed and implemented to keep up the demand for food and thus support the producers and providers.
Without this program many people could not afford to buy food and the prices for primary foods would plummet. The price collapse would devastate farm owners, agricultural banks, equipment suppliers and their banks and eventually Wall Street Prices. This effect would be amplified if we eliminated the expensive and destructive Gasohol program.
The Government is a g*sshole of expelled inflation.
