They would have had to buy a heck of a lot of pressure cookers.

Yeah, I heard about that. Apparently, the man they carjacked told the FBI that they came up with the idea while they had him in his SUV, but then he escaped and they were seen and shot up by the police. Wasn't the best-laid plan in the first place.

They had one more pressure cooker bomb, which they threw out of the SUV when they were being chased, and they had some pipe bombs.

We're also hearing now the bombs in Boston were not amateurish or crude at all. The older brother may have gotten training on how to build them by jihadists on that 6-month trip he took.

Two pressure cookers killed 3 people and injured more than 200. Why on earth would you surmise they needed more firepower than that to inflict damage on Times Square? Terrorism is 90% psychological. A single pressure cooker bomb in Times Square is enough damage to send this nation into a hyperscramble.

I can't speak for the other poster for sure but I'd imagine that was his version of an attempt to poo poo the terrorist threat on NYC and deflect in support of his fellow Obama fans.

Well, rolls, it would probably take a bomb the size that Macveigh used on the Federal Building in Oklahoma City to blow up Times Square.

But, keep rolling on with the stupid innuendos.

Sorry to upset the conservative cart of radical Islamist sympathizers here.

Media circus. There is no evidence they did anymore than casually discuss bombing New York. Where was the plan? Bloomberg and the lefties want to play this for all it is worth as an excuse to further restrict our rights.

0? 0? 0?

Thus, if law enforcement officials decline to offer a Miranda warning to an individual in their custody, they may interrogate that person and act upon the knowledge gained, but may not use that person's statements to incriminate him or her in a criminal trial.
Sounds like you want this person to just walk away, scott free, but, that's typical of a con servative. Rights for me, but not thee.
