Supposedly 90% of the population was/is in favor of expanded background checks. I don't think that means 90% of the population opposed the NRA itself.

I believe that close to 90% of the total population was in favor of expanding background checks. But not even close to 90% of the population was in favor of the bill that failed.

I am sure pro gun supporters turn outs was much larger. The NRA experienced record membership. There was record gun purchases in recent months as well as 1st buyers.

4 million or so AR-15 VS a small minority who are anti-gun.

Yep, I had to buy mine piece by piece. Took weeks to buy the pieces do to backlog.

But I got one at a not so inflated price.

Lol funny part is I only kind of wanted one, but once it looked like it was going to be banned and new york started their bull**** laws, I started to build one. If their was no news of it I probably would not hav pulled the trigger to get one (pun intended)

I view this thread and the thinking behind it as mere mental desperation -- trying to convince oneself that they are in the majority when polling, from many professional polling organizations, shows otherwise.

facts are, you're wrong.

obama and the FSA are parroting polls that are 20 years old and were based on 250 people.

thats really stupid to assume anyone beside obama and his army of parasites would believe that nonsense.

looks @ the pictures of the rally.

*crickets.*

leaving your crappy drawers out of it. What is the correlation between the polls on UBC[what ever the polls are] and a rally that had no shows.

Are you suggesting that the cumulmative polling on the issue is debunked by a no-show protest rally?

are you really trying to make that lame of a connection?

It sounds like those who don't support common sense gun safety laws should make make the effort to unskew the polls that President Romney did when the polls showed him behind.
