I generally pride myself on being rational, looking at all side of a situation, doing complete analisis of a problem, pro's con's etc... that being said.. I'm having more and more difficulty in being objective about Islam. The more I review this religion the more disturbed I am....some of the core tenets of Islam doesn't line up with western values and I fear that the so call "good" Muslims aren't going to rise up against the radicals that have hijacked it... but as I said.. some of the basic tenets scare me... .... I'm trying really hard to not have knee jerk reactions but IDK... truth be told, I don't care for Islam and I wouldn't lose any sleep if we stopped immigration of Muslims into our society.. I certainly wouldn't harm or violate any liberties of the ones that are currently here.....
Certainly we can link a few terrible events that have transpired on American soil due to muslim extremists, and extremism is an issue, but lets not lose all of the good muslims to the few nut jobs. Muslims in America are mourning the Boston bombing just like the rest of us.

These are the same idiots that killed 150 children & teachers in Chechnya in the 90's.You want to import more of this scum ? About all these good muslims ? Can you tell me how many of them volunteered to help with the wounded in Boston ? Didn't think so.......

The massacre didn't occur in Chechnya, and it wasn't in the 90's.
I think all immigration should be put on hold for six weeks. All the various departments need to look into how they are sharing or not sharing info. HLS, FBI, CIA and so on need to get their ch!t together.

Compared to attacks on American soil by Christians the Islam faith is far less guilty.
Boston was an attack by two *******s; religion was a coincidence. Most serial killers in American history were Christians, but I wouldn't go around screaming that all Christians are serial killers the way that you're suggesting that all muslims are terrorists. That's just not fair. The most widely followed religion in the world is Islam, and if their religion were truly to blame for terrorist attacks then we'd all be dead by now.
Don't confuse terrorists with muslims... that's really not fair.
If its impossible to have any control over the huge southern border which can be translated as forced immigration to be sure...then why wouldn't it be said hey...immigration all together is off until we can handle the un-stoppable and out of control migration which is in a state of chaos..? I don't see any value in immigration for the entire continent whatsoever. If you cannot train for jobs, then may as well throw the towel in...so, the so called skilled immigrant is nothing but HS. Not only that a good multi-cultural society needs time, just like everything else.

Their religion instruct them not to live among the infidels except for the intention of destroying the infidels. We're the infidels. They hate us, they hate our freedoms. Let them live in their own countries and if they want to improve them, then they can do that. They have nothing to contribute to ours.

You could not be more wrong.
Preference in immigration is given to family members of immigrants. Have some relative here and you're easily in. No education at all is required. MS13 gang types are immigrating in very large numbers, very often through family chain migration.
Immigrants are also here to do the low wage kind of jobs that require no education, no background checks, and a large number of immigrants are drug addicts.
Most immigration is actually not through the employer sponsored-work visas. That's a small portion of it.
