Seems that way to me.

Where I live, many of the locals actually EXPECT a handout from the Western nations - they feel that they deserve it due to history and inequality.

That is bull IMO.

Yet still the aid and development money continues flooding in, still the legal and illegal immigrants are given first choice in the job, housing and welfare markets.

So it seems to me that the 3rd worlders are give some kind of super-status!

Is this just white mans' burden re-visited?

You are right, they have it made. Living in the lap of luxury while dining every night on champagne, lobster and white mans guilt.

The rich and elite of these 3rd World nations are most certainly doing that.

All at the expense of the Western taxpayer.

Whilst our own people suffer from unemployment and austerity - how is that right?

It isn't right but our country has been taken over by politicans who care more about money, power and votes and ethnocentric racists with a tribal mentality who don't give a damn about anyone but themselves or their "group".

Are you joking? Well I guess you are by your chosen handle. Our own people would be our fellow Americans of all stripes.

If you watched Obama 2016, it talks about this. Obama does not like that we are a wealthy country and other countries are so much poor than us. Or poor live better than people in other countries. He wants to redistribute to those countries.

Lets not forget, although Obama is a American citizen but he lived in Jakarta, Indonesia in his early formative years. Indonesia is a country where Islam is the dominant religion. Indonesia which also has a larger Muslim population than any other country in the world.

Aid to poor countries is the Welfare State in maximus.

The country and it's people live off handouts from generation to generation, thus never developing their own industries or institutions.

Just like a nation of welfare queens.

Countries surviving off aid and development money are the true Welfare States, administered by crooks and phonies.
