The fact is the current economic conditions in America are EXACTLY what Conservative policies lead to. In fact, I can't think of a SINGLE Conservative policy that would reverse the current trend. I've even asked Conservatives on here for their examples. Nothing.

I don't understand how you can be FOR offshoring jobs, importing workers and AGAINST minimum wages, collective bargaining and be surprised that the result is an America where the majority are affected by stagnating wages, and less disposable income.

So are Conservatives being deceptive when they complain about the conditions they asked for? Are they too obtuse to see the cause & effect relationship of their agenda? Or are they serious when they blame Democrats for Republican actions?
Folks who went to college are doing well those who didn't not so much. What do you want us to do?

That has nothing to do with it. The reason the government (and economists) use core inflation, which excludes food and energy, is because food and energy fluctuate rapidly and one shouldn't base policy on fluctuating numbers.

Incidentally core inflation is higher now than headline, 1.89% and 1.5%, respectively.

That's not true, college grads are having a hard time finding jobs. Those already working have not had the income gains one would expect.

All things fluctuate. How much has housing fluctuated the last decade? It makes sense to set policy on bubbles and the collapse of those bubbles?

I'm a conservative libertarian, and I'll admit that corporate America is raking in the dough and not hiring. Why should they? It's not like they won't be hammered with healthcare costs, right? When will liberals admit that we are in a period of over-regulating, bureaucratic buffoonery, and insane logic that the affordable healthcare act is affordable?

Why don't I hear liberal's railing against Obama for pandering to Goldman-Sachs, who are the architects of the biggest theft in history? Why have no bankers been arrested, tried, and placed in Club Fed for 20 years? Obama's chess club makes Bernie Madoff look like a rookie scam artist.

Where is the outrage?

Then I guess I am in a good area.

Salmon - $5-6/lb
Shrimp tray - $10.00
Crab legs - $20
Ground meat - $3
Filet Mignon - $12
Rib eye - $7.00

Same prices I was paying 2 years ago. Crab has gone up alot, but I'm not supposed to eat shellfish anyway so that doesn't bother me. Everything else is the same price.
