[SIZE=2]Just over half of Americans, 52%, now say they personally, or jointly with a spouse, have stock market investments. That is one percentage point below last year's figure, making it the lowest in Gallup's 15-year trend.

A lot of people are struggling simply to put food on the table and a roof over their heads and, as a result, have no money to invest in the market.

And this is part of why the wealth gap worsens. Parking your cash in a CD earning 0.1% interest will get you nowhere for your retirement.

Yeah? So what?

Building Wealth to generate Income is a matter of personal choice.

Whereas the GI Generation, Silent Generation, Boomers and Tweeners valued building Wealth over material things, and sought to build Wealth before acquiring material things, many of the Generation X-Box and Generation Y-Work prefer to spend their time and money acquiring material things, instead of building Wealth...

...and then are obtuse enough to whine and cry about not having Wealth.

Also, as a reminder, stocks are merely one of several dozens methods of investing.

People who are fascinated with the Stock Markets are rather silly and one-dimensional.

Investing...

How much, exactly, do you think, someone earning $12K - $15K, with student loan debt, should be able to choose whether or not to invest?

Wall Street is a nest of swindlers. You buy stock, you know they are doing things to take your money. But enough fools will wander back in to entertain these swindlers.

and other people have money to invest, but feel that markets are rigged.

how many people get the feeling that they can pull the plug on anything anytime they choose by throwing their weight around?

really, how honest can a market be with a plunge protection team?
