Another great example of the self-centered myopia suffered by those who actively oppose economic justice. Steve Diddams couldn't fathom the fact that his other 80 employees are no different from his managerial employees in terms of their healthcare needs and that of the families that they support. There is no excuse - none - for treating his hourly worker as sub-humans, as he is. He is still able to pay them differently - it's about time that we no longer allow him to treat them differently with regard to healthcare.

Not just execs. Policies with value of over 25k a year. In my area(long Island) the only people getting this extravagant insurance are cops and teachers.
And these companies will simply increase the compensation of the execs to defray the cost of the increase.
Which is why Johnson's comments in the article are especially stupid. It's like he doesn't see any alternatives that would inconvenience himself. Ridiculous.
Regardless, at least that's above-board: It will make the compensation disparity even clearer, which is helpful given how many people out there are so beholden to the greed they've been indoctrinated to worship that they deny the reality of how income inequality has doubled in a generation.

Why dont you start a business and compete with him, splitting your profits up among the employees? Wouldnt that be far more efective then crying about it?
Oh and who the hell do you think you are, to somehow think you know whats better for his employees than they do?

Other benefits should be treated the exact same way. At the company that I work at, I am considered an "HCE" (Highly Compensated Employee) because I am in the top 5% of earners and thus not permitted to contribute more than $7500 to my 401K this year. This is discriminatory. I should be allowed to contribute 15% just like everyone else.
Well BUU, your only recourse is to push communism and government ownership of business.
That will get rid of those "corrupt, greedy execs" and life will be good for all..right ?
