If my daughter was humbled to the point of having to move back into her parents house as an adult... I would hope she would be doing it to get back on her feet, and in the interim, respect her parents enough to not run around and laying around when it's a period in life where, obviously, she needs to be prioritizing...

Well let me get my 2 cents in here. I believe the age of consent should be raised to 18 all throughout the country. Here is where you who probably have a zero tolerance and add to society problems, and I differ.
- In a State where the age of Consent is 18 a 26 year old man has sex with a girl who showed a fake ID and stated several times she was 18, instead of her true age, which is 16. Should the man be in trouble and have his life ruined?
-In a State where the age of Consent is 18, 2 teens that are 17 years old have sex. Their parents find out about it, call the police and both are labeled sex offenders and charged. Are you ok with that?
-In a State where the age of Consent is 18, 1 teen who is of the age of consent (18), has sex her boyfriend who is 17. She is charged. Are you ok with that?
The victim lying, even when the offender made an effort to establish the age, two underage teens who have sex, a close in age couple....you see how tricky these things can get.
