Graham threatens to pull support from immigration bill if gays are included – LGBTQ Nation

Is this just a ruse so that the Repubs can say that they would have voted for CIR, but they included those darn gays, so we didn't? Maybe the Dems have unwittingly given them an "out" to vote against CIR and blame the Dems for it when the illegals ask "Why?"

Illegals should simply be deported, end of story.

Are you disappointed that I didn't climb on your gay agenda band wagon and criticise the Republicans for their opposition to gay illegals immigrating? I'm opposed to illegal immigration from any source, gay, straight, Mexican, Irish, child or adult. You express your views, I'll express mine.

This is just the desperate Republicans trying to appease their "base" of idiotic bigots. These are also know as straight, old, frightened white men terrified of not being catered to by everyone else. I am a straight, old, white man and I figure most of these immigrants will be paying for my Social Security. That works for me.

The real base of the Republican Party the hyper wealthy plutocrats and crooked financiers support illegal immigration because it keeps labor cost down.

The article says nothing about illegals. It simply says if the provision for recognition for same-sex partners is included in the immigration bill, they will lose the republican vote.

Way to stand up for human rights, GOP.

Lindsey Graham should just come out of the closet already. All of this over-compensating isn't believable at all.
