Pass funding of the ACA the way it was passed. That means no special exemptions for congressional staffers and force them onto the federal exchange. Those staffers making more than 400% of poverty get no subsides.
Force the employer mandate.
What's Obama and the Dems going to do than? Veto their own bill?
I don't know why this is so hard to think about it. Force Obama and the Dems hands. They cannot go to the American public and reject their own bill they have been praising the past 3 plus years.
Right-Wing Media's Latest Zombie Myth: Congress Is "Exempt"
Florida Watchdog.org, an offshoot of the Koch brothers-funded Watchdog.org, parroted right-wing media claims that Congress is receiving an "exemption" from the Affordable Care Act (ACA) by receiving a "special subsidy" from the government for its health insurance. However, this zombie lie is not based in fact and is due to a Republican effort to politicize the implementation of the law.
Exactly right. Isn't this the way all bad bills are passed? They claim they'll participate and then exempt themselves from it. They exempted themselves from insider trading. They exempt companies from litigation (like GS, Bayer, Monsanto...etc.)
