That is exactly what the Left is trying to accomplish. They don't care about those people. Their selfish hive mentality is more important to them.

Yeah because this is now turning into a D vs R battle of "My side is better than your side".

Default Republicans twisted, distorted and lied while quoting Benghazi emails

Republicans have been exposed for taking quotes from the Obama emails and leaking them with modifications that were never in the originals to bolster their non-existent case against the White House and Hillary Clinton. These scum Republicans will stop at nothing. Honesty and truth are just concepts they don't understand.

CBS News reported Thursday that leaked versions sent out by the GOP last Friday had visible differences than Wednesday's official batch. Two correspondences that were singled out in the report came from National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes and State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland.

-snip-

The news parallels a Tuesday CNN report which initially introduced the contradiction between what was revealed in a White House Benghazi email version, versus what was reported in media outlets. On Monday, Mother Jones noted that the Republicans' interim report included the correct version of the emails, signaling that more malice and less incompetence may have been at play with the alleged alterations.

Republicans Altered Benghazi Emails, CBS News Report Claims
Looks like a simple paraphrase of the original.

This is the same thing we saw with Jonathan Karl over at CBS. He released the first "exclusive report" of the 12 revisions for the talking points, last Friday. but when the White House released the actual emails to everyone, it turned out some of the emails released last Friday by Jonathan Karl were not accurate. Jonathan Karl wrote, “White House emails reviewed by ABC News suggest the edits were made with extensive input from the State Department.”

So who are we supposed to be upset at, an unknown "Republican" who paraphrased an email, or an ABC news reporter who claimed he was accurately reporting on the news first hand, and in possession of the actual emails, when we now find out that ABC and Karl, were only relying on a source?

ABC Admits That They Never Read Benghazi Emails That They Smeared Obama With

CNN’s Jake Tapper exposed ABC’s report was based on information that was edited in order to make the Obama administration look bad, ABC tried to explain away their lies by claiming that their inaccurate story, and the actual emails are the same thing, “Assuming the email cited by Jake Tapper is accurate, it is consistent with the summary quoted by Jon Karl.”

In the process of trying to defend himself, Karl exposed his own lies, “This is how I reported the contents of that e-mail, quoting verbatim a source who reviewed the original documents and shared detailed notes.” (In his original story, Karl claimed that ABC News had obtained the emails. This obviously wasn’t true.)

Except that Congressional investigations aren't independent. Darrell Isaa isn't merely fact-finding. He's highly partisan whose objective is to find wrongdoing.

As the Washington Post said, Issa is feverishly chasing any hint or suggestion of wrongdoing by the Obama administration.

On September 13th, Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) won an award he’d probably love to be able to decline. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a non-profit legal watchdog group dedicated to holding public officials accountable for their actions, gave Issa a Dishonorable Mention in its 8th annual Most Corrupt Members of Congress report.

CREW cites Issa for illegally revealing confidential information from a sealed wiretap in the Congressional Record — while leading a politically-motivated witch hunt intended to hurt Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder — and then shielding himself from reproach and censure by claiming that he, as a member of Congress, had constitutional protections for his unethical actions.

Anyone who lied about anything on either side ought to be investigated and prosecuted or fired. Can I get an amen?

Issa is the new Ken Starr.
