Basically what you have here is a President who becomes more and more popular by the day, and a bunch of angry people who can't stand it. They rant and rave about pretend scandals because they can't actually come right and say about him what we all KNOW they WANT to say... Not on this forum they can't anyway.

The head of the IRS tax exempt division is planning to take the 5th when questioned by Congress.
Still "pretend scandals" ?

A lot of bottom feeders and mailbox watchers out there.
You sound like a old angry white guy. I think any funds etc are no longer in check form.

The problem is that the 'issues' which you list are so loosely tied to the WH or not tied at all that people simply don't slam the WH for them. As a matter of fact a lot of people agree there is a lot of fakeness in the motivations behind theses 'investigations' especially when Rand Paul and other Republicans have revealed the real reason is Hillary Clinton 2016 run. This is the fifth time they 'investigate' Bengazi for crying out loud. Yes, I can assure you peole care more about positive economic news than the DC circus.

Yeah, a pretend presidential scandal. Absolutely. Maybe you should blame him if you oversleep tomorrow too. Blame him for everything. It's not working.

In so far as the person taking the fifth is not the head of the IRS, but merely a division head, I'd say this is a perfect illustration of the sort of conflation that continues to occur.
Everything is the worst-est, most horrible-est thing.

Problem is, everything can't be the penultimate thing. Not every. single. time.

yes, you are right. I'm sorry. She's the head of the tax exempt division, not the head of the IRS.
Thanks for catching that. I've fixed my post.

I'm not ready to throw in the towel and call "phony scandal" because the Repubs are mad.

Remember it took 3 years to get Nixon out.
