Senate banking committee hearing Tuesday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) grilled Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on too-big-to-fail banks—financial institutions that are so large that their failure would endanger the entire financial system.

"How big do the biggest banks have to get before we consider breaking them up?” she asked.

This is why Warren ran for office. Good for her in her follow thru.

I will be more impressed when she actually does something beside speaking. Actions are far more important. She seems really good at giving people heck but no so much when it comes to actual actions.

This is something for Congress to do not the Treasury Secretary.

You know, I was wrong about Warren before. With her Bank on Students Act, she's proving herself to not be the typical Wall St. Democrat that the majority of Democrats are, including Obama, Reid, and Pelosi.

I do like how she did not just fade into being just a Democrat, but is still a person, not a party.

I was expecting to be just another garden variety Democrat. Talk up a big game of helping the middle class, but does nothing except give platitudes on gay marriage to win over the swooners with ease. That's what most Democrats do. It's called being right-wing but operating under left cover to fool the easily manipulated
