Wendy Greuel concedes L.A. mayor's race to Eric Garcetti - latimes.com

If Eric Garcetti had been a Republican, the left would be screaming sexism from coast to coast.

But since both are Democrats - it is O.K. for the electorate to snub a minority.

Wendy is only a minority in CA. The rest of the country is still white, but it looks like she was projected to lose the race.

Wendy Greuel looks ahead to next steps after losing mayoral race - latimes.com
Eric Garcetti Wins 2013 LA Mayoral Election, Wendy Greuel Concedes

Quote:
As the polls closed on Tuesday evening, the mayoral election appeared to be extremely close. After all the mail-in ballots had been counted, Greuel was leading 50.9 percent to Garcetti's 49.1 percent.

Unofficial exit polls conducted by Loyola Marymount University forecast a win for Garcetti, 54 percent to 46 percent. The survey was conducted by the Center for the Study of Los Angeles and questioned 800 people across 25 different precincts, KCET reported. The poll also included results from a telephone survey of people who voted by mail.

Greuel had initially vowed to wait until every vote had been counted before coming to any conclusions about the race, Patch Studio City reported. However, she gave a speech at her election party in downtown L.A. shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday, in which she thanked volunteers, staffers and her big-name supporters like Bill Clinton and Magic Johnson for their work.

I was in downtown L.A. yesterday and overheard someone asking another person who they thought would win the mayoral election, and that person respondd by asking "we are having an election today?"

I suspect that the "L" in liberal stands for "low-information voter".

Well alot of people are working furiously to classify white women as a minority so as to further the agenda which seeks to utterly destroy the white devil (white men.)

These people will not rest until white men are being publicly executed at the worst, or 90% of them living below the poverty line at the best.

um.. how is this a war against women. She was not a good candidate, part of what WAS WRONG with LA. Man or woman, she would have lost because of her record.

No, I don't.

I can't remember the last time I listened to that show.

Lately, I only listen to the radio for a few seconds - when it wakes me up at 6:30 a.m. - then I shut it off, reset the alarm, let the cat out, and take a shower.

The cat wishes that I set the alarm for 5:30 a.m., because that is when she wakes me and implores me to let her out.

I'm lucky that she actually allows me to get that extra hour of sleep.

Lol I can see that, but there is no way to classify white women nationwide as a minority. The largest voting block is white women.

So a female candidate loses an election and it is "a war on women"? How pathetic these wing nut claims have become. To compare Republicans routinely vote to restrict the reproductive rights of women and vote against women getting equal pay for equal work yet the wing nuts claim Republicans are not waging a war on women's rights.

Shame on you.
