Two thoughts here: I doubt only White Males are bothered by this ad. My guess is Black women aren't too thrilled either. Cheerios may not remove it but I doubt they'd produce a similar ad again.
The other thought is that political correctness gives folks a false sense that racism has gone away when all it's done is simply moved underground which IMHO is far more dangerous.

I think that people should get along with each other and not utilize arbitrary divisions such as race and ethnicity.
We are human beings and in the case of the United States - Americans.
Now answer my question - why are you so obsessed with race that you felt the need to start a divisive thread that only serves to pit people against each other?

Naw, while compared to other cereals healthwise Cheerios is not too bad, the best is shredded wheat, Post or otherwise. No salt, sugar, cholesterol, saturated or trans fat. High in fiber.
