I think that people should get along with each other and not utilize arbitrary divisions such as race and ethnicity.
We are human beings and in the case of the United States - Americans.
Now answer my question - why are you so obsessed with race that you felt the need to start a divisive thread that only serves to pit people against each other?
Why don't you strive for unity rather than promote division?
Wait - I know - you are a Democrat.
That is just how the dem's roll.
and im not obsessed with race, so dont be coming after me when ive said nothing to obsess about a race other then create a thread where race is being discussed.
Only in the United States, home of the free would this cause such a stir.
Nonsense. Few Americans are offended by mixed race marriage, certainly a lower percentage than is typical elsewhere. A couple dozen anonymous messages on the internet is hardly a "stir."
Naw, while compared to other cereals healthwise Cheerios is not too bad, the best is shredded wheat, Post or otherwise. No salt, sugar, cholesterol, saturated or trans fat. High in fiber.
I think Total is hardcore healthy as far as cereals go. Milk is loaded with sugar though.

people on that site said that in the uk this is less of a deal then it is here.
Two thoughts here: I doubt only White Males are bothered by this ad. My guess is Black women aren't too thrilled either. Cheerios may not remove it but I doubt they'd produce a similar ad again.
The other thought is that political correctness gives folks a false sense that racism has gone away when all it's done is simply moved underground which IMHO is far more dangerous.
Good point. We have seen how this underground racism has played out against President Obama who happens to be a child of a mixed race family.
I like how everyone has to "take a stand" so to speak. Either you hate it (along with all brown people), or you think it's one of the most beautiful works of art of the 21st century.
