I'll tell you what - when a conservative says something worth defending, I'll defend it.

See how rational discussion is lost. I ask a simple question and you come back with sarcasm. Stupid is stupid on a per human basis, not as an entire group. If someone says something rediculous, it's on them, not every liberal or conservative. I get along face to face with both. I don't see how someone like you could.

Do you honestly believe EVERY CONSERVATIVE is worthless.

Are you surrounded by only liberals?

Good article.

The funniest thing to me is when people assume Gov Brown is some big-time liberal spender. Brown is, and always has been, a fiscally conservative advocate of smaller, more effective government, with a strong emphasis on technology and innovation.

In fact, with the virtual extinction of the GOP in California (Good riddance ) Gov Brown is easily THEE most conservative person currently in state government.

California- an experiment in a post-GOP society... Leading the way to a better future

Seems the author of the news piece was mixing apples and oranges. Exchange insures will have to hold the line on costs.

Premium insurers are increasing premiums and charge more...that is on them. If Blue Cross Blue Shield wants to double the cost of their premiums...how is Obamacare responsible for that rate hike? Their rate increases is not bound by Obama regulations.

The state of California administers the Excahnge insurance[low cost insurance for those that can't afford insurance on their own]...Not premium Helth insruance like BCBS.

Not to worry. I hear Kali has a low cost of living, especially in the coastal areas where the young live.

From what I've read, CA is expecting costs to be generally lower than anticipated for the exchanges, and that is a very good thing.

??? I've never had an employer subsidy.

Keep in mind, that without the ACA (or Obamacare, if you prefer), that the individual health plans would be inaccessible to people with pre-existing conditions. The cost of insuring individuals with pre-existing conditions is more expensive than those without and this is the reason the cost of health insurance has risen.

To give you an example, I have epilepsy (a condition that is very often, and in my case is, unpreventable). Without health insurance I cannot drive or work. Yet, epilepsy is a pre-existing condition that will forbid me from buying health insurance absent a law (such as the ACA) that prevents such discrimination in the health insurance market.

Wasn't there a thread some LSD (liberal, socialist democrat) started cackling how Obamacare would lower health costs in Californication?

Looks like they were completely full of crap
