I've been involved in charity work even before I could work and I can't say that I have ever met anyone with conservative views... unless they were a cop. Why is this? It could just be the activities I participate in, but I have volunteered for a range a programs from ESL programs to habitat for humanity and not too many people seem to espouse conservative views.

People that work for charities don't seem to be conservative either.

I think alot of it is where you live. Alot of church groups around here volunteer all the time, what I have found is conservatives tend to help members of their own tribe. You will find liberals who volunteer to help one and all. In other words, if you run in the same circles as conservatives, you will find alot of them volunteering, but if you are not in that clique, you won't see them out there.

But they are, conservatives do volunteer, I've worked with them before, and they do alot of volunteering.

Are you joking here, or are you that ignorant? I know you can't be serious. Damn.

That's a good question. I think comes down to right wingers are lazy and don't feel the need to help others. They think those in need are a bunch of scumbags.

Lmao.....

Christians, Catholics and Mormons are comprised of Liberals???

They are some of the biggest volunteers in this country.

This thread should be burned to the ground....or left open for the observation of the sheer stupidity of it.

That could be it as well. I don't deal with churches much and if conservatives volunteer through churches then it isn't likely our paths would cross.

You apparently have some very close minded, narrowly focused experience when it comes to volunteering.

Statistics show conservatives donate about twice what liberals donate.
