And you have every right to be wrong.

I think the highlight of his career was when Dick Cheney told him to "go f*** himself" , IMO that is about the only thing Cheney did that I supported.

Yes, he was a left-leaning Democrat, but true Conservatives, as distinguished from the anti-Americans who've largely hijacked that term/description, would respect his not hiding his views and would I believe demonstrate some respect for the WWII vet, and champion of so many personal freedoms. I haven't seen the news yet, but I'm wondering who Chris Christie will appoint to the seat, temporarily. Maybe he'll claim it for himself ... which would be okay with me.

A chickenhawk such as Dick "Shooter" Cheney is more up their alley. Those that are bashing a Senator that actually put himself in harms way to serve his country are the same dimwits that are enraged over Benghazi because Americans were killed. Their hypoocrisy is over the top pathetic.

I equally dislike Senator McCain and find it utterly appalling a career politician like him, with his status as vet and POW, thinks he has the moral authority to fight every war on the planet.

I have zero love for Cheney and his regime and I think the Benghazi thing is beat to death. I really don't care about it.
