Those two hit men were were working their asses off to get enough money to pay prostitutes!

They were job creators!

Does the law cover theft of misdemeanor lolipops?

Or, does the lolipop need to be felony size?

Can we all agree that if you are going to kill a hooker, you should put her in a woodchipper afterwards?

You would stand a much better chance of avoiding risky and expensive legal issues by turning a hooker corpse into mulch.

Well, from the article, it was a scam, she was stealing the money. He attempted to prevent her from stealing the money.

What should he have done? Waved at her as she jumped in the car and drove away? Then called the police, reported to them that he was ripped off by a prostitute? Then maybe the police would put out an APB and hope they find them someday to which the money that they stole will never be recovered?

In many cases of theft, it is uncommon for someone to get their money back or have their property returned in the condition it was taken. So, when it is being taken is the crucial moment to protect it.

she didn't "Just take some money", she stole money. She lived in Texas, she knew the risks. It is also why people don't go walking on peoples property willy nilly in Texas. You respect the person who owns it and ask permission in ALL cases before you enter.

Both of them consented to the prostitution. The theft was not agreed upon.

What do you mean by upsell? Upsell is traditionally a sales technique, this was theft plain and simple.

Does this mean you can murder someone who doesnt mow your lawn if you pay them in Texas?

Exactly.

She ran off with his money, it wasnt a case of her taking his $150, then saying something along the lines of "would you like anal for an extra $50"?

That would be an upsell, in this instance the dead hooker was guilty of theft.

In Texas, care and treatment of a man's lawn is as sacred as care and treatment of his privates.
