Mitt Romney was on Cavuto this week and he kind of hemmed and hawed over some of these issues. I think when they go from candidate to president, their first intelligence briefings scare the snot out of them.

Since this particular "mission" started prior to the Obama admin, I'd say "not just no, but hell no".

Of course not. This kind of thing is pervasive and has been happening for decades. It's not a party issue.

Party affiliation doesn't matter. Politicians are irrelevant. The people running this country are special interest groups: multinational CEOs, heads of global banks and global energy traders, and lobbyists.

Nat'l-level politicians from BOTH parties are bought, sold and owned by these people.

The "us vs. them" "dem vs. repub" nonsense is just media distraction used to occupy the simple minds of the useful idiots who labor under the baseless, infantile delusion that one party is somehow "better" than the other. It's a put-up job. We are all getting screwed and we need to wake up to it.

Maybe, maybe not. The difference is, will republicans blindly follow like Obama followers do.

News flash. This thread is simply an attempt to excuse Obama for doing it.

New Flash: Obama is president and he is guilty of the dragnet

Yes. Obama thought he could do all this under the radar because the slobbering MSM wouldn't report it. And had the AP spying thing not happened, he would have been right.

Overreach. The Dims own it.

Um, as has been pointed out several times, Republicans WOULD do it and HAVE done it. This isn't to excuse Obama, who sucks just as much as the rest of them, but this is clearly NOT a partisan issue. Partisan issues are distractions for people who are walking around half-asleep and half-aware.

Yep. He is currently guilty of it. Just like his predecessors were guilty of it, Dem and Repub both. Just like Romney would be had he been elected.

This isn't a partisan issue. It goes way beyond that.

Started under Bush but the real driver was 9-11.
A fearful people will comply.

It has morphed though and is no longer looking for foreign terrorists.
And I fear it will continue to creep.
