North Germany, East Denmark, etc. You know the homes of the Algles and the Saxons. When they moved to post Roman Britian they established the British and the world remained plagued by them for a few hundred years.

Depends. All the Republicans have to do is block amnesty and they won't have any significant trouble winning elections for a very long time.

And as some people have previously said, the bulk of southern democrat voters are heavily concentrated in big cities. There's more electoral votes outside of those minority hubs and that's how southern states will remain red for a long time to come.

hmm. i'm no expert, but i was under the impression that the anglo-saxons had driven the british out of England by around 1000 AD.. which was right before the normans invaded and conquered the anglo-saxons.

That is one of the things that is changing in portions of the south. If you look at VA for example, the areas that are growing are not the rural areas, it is the large metro areas led by the D.C suburbs in NOVA.

'In NC much of the growth has been in the larger metro areas especially in the Triangle and Charlotte

You can say the same for Texas. It's the urban cities there that are the most liberal and the poorest counties near the border. The fairly wealthy and the fairly poor vote Dem in Texas.
