One designer thought the worst thing about the PRISM revolutions were the horrible Powerpoint slides. So, he re-designed them: Dear NSA, let me take care of your slides. It's quite an improvement!

By the way, in latest latest survey by the Pew Research Center and The Washington Post:
  • 56% of Americans think it is acceptable for the NSA to systematically track their call records in terrorism investigations.
  • 45% think it is acceptable for the government to monitor emails to prevent terrorist attacks

Are you going to protest the NSA hoping that it will get shut down? Or are you going to prepare and arm yourself in case they see you as a political dissident and come for you? Or maybe even a combination of those things? Or maybe you are going to do nothing, because you have nothing to hide and are not paranoid of the government.

Many businesses out there depend on this electronic infrastructure to make money, farmers, gun manufacturers, banks, the stock market, and many other things.

So what are y'all gonna do about it, tough guys?
People aren't going to do anything. This stuff has been the law of the land for over a decade. That was when the question mattered.

I was one who was against the Patriot Act back in 2001 when it wasn't popular to be against that legislation.
I was against the war on terror, I was later against the creation of homeland security, I was against those dumb terror threat levels that were used to scare the crap out of people. I was against the Iraq war, I was against torture, I was against indefinite detention. I was against GITMO.

In order to stop we have to stop all of it. We have to learn that these conservative policies were an unmitigated disaster.

Sadly, conservatives still don't want to end the war on terror, and still support the surveillance state, so it will be a struggle to end it.

Again as pointed out to you in a previous thread by another poster, NONE of this is conservative in nature! Just because someone has an (R) in front of their name, it does not make them conservative. I am a Libertarian which leans conservative in ideology (at least when it comes to fiscal matters, and limiting the size and power of the of the government) and I can assure I support NONE of the above referenced!!!! Didn't then!!! Nor do I now!

Go to the NSA website and peruse the management. It is where all the retired generals and admirals go when they retire. It is nothing but an extension of the Pentagon. Their budget must be huge.

I'd like to see the congress person who has the strength to tell then no.
