Resurrecting the old losing battle in the Repub War on Women...

The House abortion bill likely won’t make it into law. But it still matters.

Except putting up Marsha Blackburn as the new face .. Say, what's that phrase again, something like "putting lipstick on a P.."?

"War on Women"?

Really?

Who is having war declared on them with regard to abortion?

A woman who can't kill the baby and has to carry it to term, but can still give it up for adoption, and still not deal with the consequences.

OR

A baby, innocent in nature, who did nothing, but is having its life snuffed out by incredibly selfish and hateful people.

Your logic is astounding. Seriously, you care more about defending the murderers than those that are murdered.

I thought the GOP was going to work on jobs, instead of reviving bills that never go anywhere.

I think they have gone insane, it's the only thing that explains trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

How is it insane to want to protect the unborn and keep the issue in the forefront of the government's mind? Abortion should be outlawed, as it is murder. Last I knew, murder was supposed to be illegal.

What is insane is supporting the murder of unborn children.

Ted Kennedy started the war on women though.

Seeing as there are no unborns to protect, why don't you worry about those WHO are already born, living in poverty, sick and dying?

Keep telling yourself that, but we know that its not true.

what children are being murdered? Seems that you don't know the definition of children (psst: It involves living, breathing human beings).

The SCOTUS determined it is the Constitutional Right of a woman to have an abortion. If you think otherwise, you should petition the Court to reverse that.

I'm assuming the repubs will add the usual exceptions to the bill, i.e. in cases of rape, incest, health or impregnation of your mistress?

The only thing the GOP works on these days is the erosion of liberty under the guise of protecting it. It's the grand idea of small government that turn utterly intrusive as soon as people or their behavior fall outside of the GOP-defined ideal.

This is not just a war on women, it is a war on America where our rights are taken away step by step. Naturally, women, as the lowest life form, cannot possibly have any say when it comes to their own bodies. They are unable to determine if an abortion is something they want to subject themselves to. No, that soul-searching has to be done for them.

It's also not up to them to determine, along with their doctors, what medical procedures are and aren't warranted in a given situation. Again, they are too stupid and thus, need small GOP government to tell them.

The GOP keeps working hard in other areas as well:

Thus, you are now a felon in Florida if you are caught in possession of a pipe - even if that pipe has never been used - if cops determine that it is designed for or can be used for smoking illegal substances:

http://www.myfloridahouse.gov/Sectio...9&Session=2013

Never mind that this law is so broad that it can be applied to anyone and everything as long as the cops want to pin it on you. Thus, you are now in the same criminal category as a child molester or a murderer. Sure, GOP, that makes sense.

The GOP also apparently believes that people, when they are sick, should still come to work or not get paid:

Florida's Governor Signs ALEC-Backed Bill Banning Paid Sick Leave

That's really great that getting a cold can now endanger a person's very existence. It's also great that sick people will be forced to come to work and infect others. Awesome, GOP.
