In a thread about homeless people and mentally ill, you just whined that the government isn't doing enough.
I'd call that trolling.
No, you must stutter when you read.
The topic in that thread was the dems lazy response to our mental health system.
Let's see if you can keep up...
The topic in this thread is...unemployment.
Those 2 are related how?
And calling out your fearless inept leaders is not whining, stud.
Of course unemployment handouts need to be cut in lieu of the wonderful job creation that has been done. No excuses now for people to be laying around expecting free money.
A similar thing happened in Texas. Texas cut medicaid funding to PP because of abortions.
So the Fed cut off their money to Texas.
There's no mandate that Fed medicaid money be spent at PP.
Totally a political move by the strong arm of the Fed.
Yet few bash the Fed for what they did. Just like people bashed TX for what "they did", people are bashing NC for what "they did" when in fact it was the USG that cut the money.
Got to love "big government". Do what we want or we cut you off !!
DODguy: raises hand
Oblamer claims he added eleventybillion jobs last month, get off your butts boys and girls
I think it's a really harsh slap of reality in the era of Obamanomics. States that have been fine with a worker safety net for decades, can no longer afford it. These economic down ticks are supposed to be short lived, but under Obama they have become the new norm.
Not only is the economy in a historical slump, but instead of trying to make things better, Obama's policies are unnecessarily increasing costs. His war on fossil fuels is creating a purposeful increase in energy costs. his stupid ObamaCare is causing prices for health care to soar, and forcing employers to cut employees, or reduce their hours.

I'm starting to think the Fed has a "War on the States" here with their strongarm tactics.
NC modifies their UE benefits and the Fed cuts them off of extended benefits.
TX modifies its medicaid funding to exclude PP and the Fed cuts them off of Fed medicaid dollars.
And the MSM biased articles puts the blame on the states.

The federal government gives themselves new powers, and then they use these powers to act as tyrants over the states. I remember when my state was ordered by the federal government to lower it's BAC levels for drunk drives, they refused to do it. So the federal government said if we did not change our laws to suit them, then they would withhold federal highway funds. They do the same thing with federal education funds, "you will do X, or we will withhold funding." Where the hell do they think they get the funding from in the first damn place, if not from the states??!!
