Well, if they are working and receiving food stamps then their employers should have to reimburse the government 100%. Or cut the red tape and give them a raise.

Key word AVERAGE.

College kids are getting food stamps for crying out loud.
They are advertising to everyone in America to get on food stamps.
States are getting bonus money from the Fed for signing up people.

Heck..I spend about $150 a month in food shopping.
Then again I don't buy the throw away crap, pre-processed crap, meal in a box and frozen dinners.

Or fire them and only hire on people who can live off that money.

Hours have already been reduced thanks to Obamacare.
Just making a bad situation worse if you ask me.

It's long been known that in order to provide some food assistance to the hungry, we must pay off the "gentlemen" farmers(AKA Corp Food Ind) first. Hence the Farm Bill.

We're paying them NOT to farm though.
LOL at the thought.

We provide the people with money via EBT cards.
We provide the schools with food via international corporations.

Actually average is not what I really meant to convey. The highest frequency of food stamp recipients are households with one adult and one child. A small percentage of households receiving food stamps consist of an adult and several children. I will look these up to cite the source when I have time.

$4 a day to feed two people is not a lot. Even as a supplement. Remember a lot of people receive less than $130 a month.

Good. From what I read it was a half a trillion dollar bill with all kinds of pork attached to it.
