I have people tell me that because I have never been to Israel I have no right to comment on the Israeli/ Palestinian conflict so I offer the testimony of these Israeli soldiers.

All sides in a war commit crimes. War itself is a crime. In WWII the Japanese, Germans, French, Russians, Americans ALL committed what would be classified as "war crimes" by a victor. But - in WWII only the Germans and Japanese were brought up on such charges. Nowadays, it is a little more even handed - but what gets classified as a war crime (sometimes) is unfair to the soldiers as it plays Monday morning QB to some instant decisions that need to be made (such as - is that person carrying a gun or something else? Should I shoot? Is that child? Is that wounded person really surrendering or is he waiting to shoot me or blow himself up if I go to him?).
I was an Israeli soldier also. Israel is a free society where people are entitled to there own opinions, and of course nobody agrees on everything(definetly not jews). I completely disagree with his point of view and so do the vast vast majority of Israeli soldiers. Don't take a video like this and spin in that this is what all Israeli soldiers think becuase it's definetly not. Keep in mind many people enter the army already having their own politics and they see everything throught that lens.
