If we want to be a Military-industrial complex we better start declaring war on more countries because we are looking very soft right now.
Withdrawing troops, closing bases in Europe, closing Guantanamo....

We have amazing high tech weapons, powerful army, we can't just sit on our butts.
we need to get the hippy Obama out of office and call up Romney

Maybe because it's AMERICAS LONGEST WAR???!!!

They cannot afford to lose much more credibility...

Do yourself a favor... call your ISP and tell them that you do not deserve the internet and to disconnect your service ASAP..

EDIT: By the way... you do know the contractors that get sent in to clean up the mess are part of the Military-Industrial Complex and that this will be ongoing long after we withdraw completely...

Right?? Right????

I say wrong. Iraq is an example. It's not going to be safe for contractors to stay behind. It's getting more dangerous there by the day and our withdrawal may be bloody this time.

We should withdraw troops to fight Russia and China, then use our national guard to take on the Mexican drug cartels, and finally build 100,000 drones to police the world, right?

There's hardly any money in having grunts overseas, silly. Building ridiculously expensive stuff that's not expected to be used is where the cash comes in.

The F-22, the current M-1 Abrams tank program, the alternate engine for the F-35, the Littoral Combat ship(s), the ground-based ABM system - all of it pretty much designed to line the right pockets, all of it useless for the low-intensity COIN warfare we're facing.
