(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama said at a town hall event in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Saturday that unless we find new way of producing energy "the planet will boil over" if people in Africa are allowed to attain air conditioning, automobiles and big houses. “Ultimately, if you think about all the youth that everybody has mentioned here in Africa, if everybody is raising living standards to the point where everybody has got a car and everybody has got air conditioning, and everybody has got a big house, well, the planet will boil over -- unless we find new ways of producing energy.” - See more at: Obama: 'The Planet Will Boil Over' If Africans Are Allowed Cars and Air-Conditioning | CNS News

Why does this news publication, CNS, believe that America "Allows" Africans to use air conditioning and cars? That sure is paternalistic of them.

Africans have their own sovereign states, nobody "allows" them to do anything.

Wants to deny blacks and/or poor folk a better quality of life.

Typical liberal/progressive/democrat.

If global warming is true...does Obama have a point that the development of the "3rd world" for lack of a better term, will in fact speed up global warming?

To that point, will Obama's billions for electricity in Africa proposal speed up global warming?

so technically, what is the disagreement

there is a concern about the resources needed and available (and impact to world environment) for Africa to become as developed as the United States

is this another Ostrich in the sand "don't tell me global warming exists" argument?

I aint never called Democrats anti-white.

Look at their party. It's basically run by rich, white men. Same as their donors.

Forcing green energy in Africa promises them they will stay in poverty. Democrats support keeping poor blacks in their place.
