That would be the GOP hands down. The right wing's dream boy Reagan passed flat out amnesty for millions of illegals. McCain also tried to pass an amnesty bill, W fully supported it, and governors like Perry leave the door wide open.
The GOP loves illegals with a passion. For all the jobs they can't offshore to China, they hire the illegals to do it.

ps where is this liberal tolerance your side always says you guys say you have?
The GOP thinks it's perfectly fine to crap all over the constitution to pass huge government bills like the patriot act, which spends millions and millions of dollars to put surveillance, tanks, weapons,..to watch over the american people and violate their rights, all in the name of "safety"

When it comes to passing amnesty, skyrocketing the debt, giving billion and billions of dollars in taxpayer funds to their corporate cronies, and leading to a fascist takeover of the nation, it's the GOP.

If you are a supposed "constitutionalist", the GOP would be your most hated group.

Real "Ike" conservativism?

When Ike was President he oversaw "Operation wet-back" which targeted and deported over a million Mexicans.

By your standards this makes Ike far worse than a typical current 'anti-American racist teabagger' politican who barely has the courage to vote against amnesty.

Could it be that the current GOP isn't actually "radically right wing" as much as the rest of American politics has drifted so far towards the lunatic PC-left that it makes the centrist, ever-so-slightly nativist GOP policies that would be considered common sense in any other country seem 'radical'?

If you are truly interested in libertarian policies you should be concerned about minimizing the welfare state. To achieve this you need a moral, educated, self-governing population, not a mishmash of single mothers, poor immigrants and male social libertines.

The big government lemmings come out of the woodwork. Can't address the issues so they have to lie about the individual.
No one in their right mind who has worked with Ron Paul has accused him of racism. Let me guess, according to you, Nelson Linder, the head of Austins NAACP is an Uncle Tom because he stood up for Ron Paul and against the false claims of racism.
You have no proof whatsoever Ron Paul made racist statements but because someone said so you fell for it. That's on you and your inability to seek the truth.

I don't believe that NOT spending money in favor of giving tax credits to mega-corporations makes you a fiscally conservative Republican. At least the "wasted" money from Democratic programs aim to assist the public. I have yet to benefit from Apple, WalMart or the banking industry's rape of our treasury; contrary to the billions that have been invested in the public transit I use on a daily basis and would not be able to make an income without. There are more ways to be financially irresponsible than just spending money.

Default Nonsense

Ron Paul is and always will be a simple-minded idiot who is better suited for slavery times than now. The country has moved away from what he represents, and I find it pathetic that you can't see that. The man was soundly REJECTED and you're still clinging desperately to some ridiculous notion that he was somehow relevant. I hope you get better.

The arrival of President Barack Obama not only signaled the end of bin Laden, but the beginning of the end of the GOP. The GOP doesn't belong in this country as a major political party. It is an ideology that wants to preserve the hierarchy that emerged from Slavery, where whites are on top and everyone else has subservient roles. It wants to preserve the "unearned privilege." It knows nothing about effectively running an economy, except to benefit ONLY the rich. It promotes the intrusion and invasion of sovereign nations who pose no imminent threat simply to "spread democracy." It is OK with a President who LIES to justify war, sending thousands to their death for unjustified reasons. It is a mindset that is clueless about other cultures, assuming for instance that those cultures are inferior or simplistic enough to be changed by a simple "shock and awe" display of military might. Shameful.

The GOP stared at the health care crisis for 8 years and did nothing. While trying to nation-build abroad, the rich were enjoying unprecedented gains here at home. CEO pay and executive perks went through the roof while workers struggled to make ends meet before they were displaced by cheaper foreign labor. Under GOP control, every domestic category went into crisis mode, and foreign policy was Neanderthal diplomacy at its worse. The GOP has been a WMD and continues to hurt the progression of this country.

If anything, the younger generation signals the end of the shameful GOP. Ron Paul continues to be a laughable political figure.

Young Americans give two ****s about Ron Paul. They do however, give multiple ****s about all of the 'nation building" that took place abroad while our own collapsed before our young futures that we have to clean up now and be financially responsible for. Excellent post.

The only simple minded idiots are those that think doing the same thing over again will yield different results.

When you don't have facts, play the race card.

The problem is people like you who think government can run the economy. Were you in a coma when we had the government made dot com bubble or the government made housing bubble? How did those work out?

Our military is in more countries than ever before. The President controls troop movements and can bring them home, yet doesn't. Obama lied about getting our troops out of Afghanistan right away. At last count 175 Pakistani children have been killed by drones since he took office. How does it feel to be the person who loaded the bullets for Obama to murder those children?

Only the uninformed would not know government is the reason for the high cost of health care.

Lowest percentage of people in the workforce in 30 years. Those on food stamps and other government assistance are at an all time high. Way to go big government.

The only Presidential candidate who told us to expect a 9/11 type attack because our foreign policy, which Obama continues, makes us less safe and he was right.
The only Presidential candidate who told us to expect a housing crash and horrible economic times when Congress manipulated the free market in housing and he was right.

But keep backing destructive big government and getting your rocks off on killing innocent people in the Middle East if it makes you happy.
