I'm sure her lawyer advised her to seek immunity for good damn reason. Do you have any idea how complex situations can get? For all the good reasons someone may testify and then find themselves in a mess not of their doing but by some well placed person seeking revenge for what ever reason under the sun.

It's called accountability. You want the perks, you also get the pain. Don't want this type of thing to happen, then keep tighter control of YOUR department.
