Bacteria can take up bits of DNA from their environment (called transformation) or transfer plasmids between themselves (e.g. "resistance genes"). Animal cells generally don't do those things.

Credibility is not there.
How did I know you would be the first to respond? SMH.

Get back to us when you have "time to debunk".

You seem like an OK poster otherwise, but when it comes to GMO's and Multi-National corporations controlling the World's food supply, your credibility never existed in my book.

My opinion is that the best use of genetic engineering is medicine: introducing healthy copies of genes into people with disabling genetic diseases like Cystic Fibrosis.

The current state of the GM crops and animals seem to be counterproductive. Lots of money spent for little social and environmental gain.

NO! It has survived based on thousands of years of learned behaviours....

Monsanto has been around maybe 100 yrs.

Man and nature... much longer.
