Trayvon wasn't wounded or leaving a blood trail. Do you walk around in the dark figuring you're going to stumble into a deer?
I do see your point. It is also possible he had given up at that point and was simply walking back to his truck. He stayed on the phone with dispatch, just sort of "chatting" for a couple minutes after he "lost him". Not really what I'd expect from someone "chasing a child down".
I agree with you completely. As in 100%. we don't know. What we do know is that GZ was really afraid. The screaming? Who knows who it was, but I'll go with maybe it was george. I honestly believe the man was afraid.
Nothing went as he envisioned it to go. He was decked by a punch in the nose and bad went to worse when TM mounted him. I don't buy the 30+ blows. GZ isn't beaten up all that bad. But he was terrified by what little he did get.
In that scenario, you'd better... have a few witnesses ready to lie for you.
As a strong believer in deception, you must be proud of GZ for claiming he had never heard of the "stand your ground" law. Especially, after finding out later, not only had he heard of it, but he took a class on the subject and received an "A".
I guess, if he's going to lie, he might as well make it a good one, huh?
Remember folks, as instructions state, the jury must presume Zimmerman is innocent until the State has proven other wise. The burden is on the State.
So can anyone say the state has met the burden of proof? No.
The most important thing is the jury and their views on law. If they put law above most else, including emotion, it should be Not Guilty

I think they've met the burden on Manslaughter. Not on 2nd degree.

Perhaps that's how the jury will see it. What if it isn't? I guess all the GZ supporters will call them stupid, just like they are doing now with anyone who believes that GZ is guilty.
So I am unreasonable because I can see that a blow to the head can easily kill somebody?

Actually, to tell the whole truth, he took a class that included the stand your ground law.
