this should be an easy verdict, and if he's not found guilty, i wouldnt have problems with people rioting.

The jury may come back with the following verdict:

Michael, you are Dunn.

That is up to the jury to decide.

What Harrier does not understand is the lynch mob mentality of people in this thread who want to hang Dunn before the jury renders their verdict.

Why can't we all be objective and wait until the facts come out?

If he is found guilty, then you can vicariously lynch the man.

If he is found not guilty, understand that that is a valid verdict as well.

Understand that in the case of either verdict, justice has been done.

Everyone of you with prejudices should disqualify yourself from jury service.

Well now, you have to look at both sides.

According to Dunn, it was the occupants of the loud music car which started the confrontation.

According to him, he asked them to turn down the music, and they responded with obscenities, threats, and allegedly showed what he thought was a weapon, causing him to fear for his life.

Whether he is telling the truth or full of excrement, Harrier does not know.

The jury will have to decide that question.

The family that leaves their car occupying a pump while they all truck into the store to shop at their leisure.
These are just a few of the things I consider rude and inconsiderate at fuel/convenience stores.

Now what about the guy that tailgates you for twenty miles? Wanders all over the highway while texting?

Fact of life today: no shortage of rude and inconsiderate behaviour and that is not going to change by shooting a few. Confronting them is not the answer as long as guns are in the mix. You never know when the guy you confront might have a gun of his own.
Well, it is also rude and inconsiderate to shout obscenities and threaten to kill someone who made a simple request.

That in itself should not cause one to use a weapon - the smart thing would be to drive away.

What the jury has to decide is if Dunn could have reasonably felt that his life was in danger - and the answer to that question will hinge on whether they believe that he saw what looked like a weapon.

Only they can make that decision.

Right - and he didn't warn her that a thug with a gun was shooting at him when she walked outside. In fact, he never even mentioned a gun to her at all. (her testimony)

I am shocked that the jury is still deliberating and wants to watch the surveillance video again. A 17 year old who was unarmed is dead. 10 bullets were fired from one gun. No other gun or bullets were found at the scene. The teens were there first and Dunn pulled up right next to them even though he claims the music was so loud that it hurt his ears. It wasn't his home, his business or even his neighborhood. He drove off after killing a 17 year old and never contacted the police. He didn't even tell his fiancee about the alleged threat to his life. He wrote racist letters talking about all the Black thugs and how they need to be taught a lesson. So now I guess we have a new type of defense, the "they're all thugs, so let's kill 'em" theory. Why else would he write

"This may sound a bit radical but if more people would arm themselves and kill these (expletive) idiots, when they’re threatening you, eventually they may take the hint and change their behavior.”

Where in that passage is the words "black" or "thugs" used?

That doesn't answer Harrier's question.

Why should the cops be involved?

Did you read the letters he wrote from jail? There are over 100 pages and I'm certainly not going to post them here. You obviously haven't been following this case carefully. He also has a website and his defense is largely based on claiming there is a "thug culture" and we need to stop it.

You must be joking, right? You need to call the cops even if you are in a car accident and someone is injured. Otherwise you'd be arrested for leaving the scene of an accident. Now you are saying that, after firing 10 bullets into a car, Dunn had no reason to contact the cops.

This is silly and I shouldn't bother responding to such a question.

How about not blaring music and shouting obscenities and threats at someone who makes a simple request.

If he was unarmed, then there is no justification for firing the weapon.

However, neither you or Harrier know if Davis was unarmed.

That is up to the jury to decide.
