The jury just asked if they can reach a conclusion on some charges and not on others, or if they have to decide all charges.

Healey told them that they can decide on all, some, or none of the charges.

1st degree murder, but they can decide to go with lesser charges (2nd degree or manslaughter) in the death of Davis.
3 counts of attempted homicide for the three other people in the car that was being shot at.
1 count of firing into a inhabited structure or car.

The 3 attempted homicide charges carry a 20 year sentence each.
The firing into the car carries a 15 year sentence.

First degree murder is not defined as killing someone with no reason, it is the killing of someone with premeditated malice.

For malice to exist there must be a motive, and in the motive lies the reason.

The reason may not make sense to you or Harrier, but it does to the person who committed the murder.
