I plan to do the same. No more vacations in Florida for me until these laws are changed. It scares me that I've vacationed with my family in the state without being aware of these SYG laws.
I know others who are also boycotting Florida.
Well if you don't want to visit SYG states there are only 17 out of 50 you can visit.

"The fact is Florida’s stand-your-ground law is quite common, 33 states are effectively SYG states and have very similar provisions. In fact there is one state that not only lets you to stand your ground, it explicitly allows you to pursue your assailant if necessary for your safety. And that state is California [where the station is located]."
Stevie may be misinformed; the stand your ground law was not used in this case. I just checked his concert dates, and he didn't have any plans to go to Florida anyway.
Hey now, don't rain on his parade....this is some great free publicity for his tour.

I'm sure your lack of vacationing in Florida will force the legislature to act.
You talk as if their budget depends on your vacation money.
Those of you who call Stevie Wonder a moron consider this, he's rich enough to buy and sell most of you.
So can Snooki and the Situation. Just sayin'.
I've always liked the guy, it just seems "odd".....and I reiterate that it might just be his manager drumming up free publicity for his tour.
