lol @ these posters today who think they are experts in blackology. newsflash geniuses: not all black people grow up in the hood. many of us went to "pricey private schools" and grew up in nice neighborhoods. we still had plenty of problems and a lot of them stemmed from the color of our skin.

An amazing point was brought up recently from Smiley during an interview asking where is the NRA saying Trayvon should have been armed to defend himself? Which have been completely silent. After Sandy Hook, the NRA and right wing machine went on an all out assault against the president, even stooping so low to attack his children, blaming him and the teachers for not being armed for the massacre.
The president has now done an unprecedented statement commenting on what if Trayvon was armed, would he still be alive now to "stand his ground" against Zimmerman?
Who knew? The president is the one making the pro-2nd amendment statements and not the radical right/NRA.
The far right/NRA's silence is deafening. Could it be because of the skin color?
Defend himself against what exactly? Trayvon had several opportunites to change the course of events that night. He could have gone straight to his Dad's house and nothing would have happened. He could have simply asked George why he was following him rather then punching him out first.
It was not Trayvon that needed to be armed to protect himself, it was George.
