As a card carrying member of the NRA, who is almost always carrying a firearm of some sort, I find that quite interesting and enlightening. I would never dream of initiating violence because someone is following me, I can now understand why you're concerned with people owning firearms if asking someone three times for something and being pushed (only pushed) is enough of a trigger to initiate hostilities. Are you telling me that if on a rainy night with not a lot of people about, if someone first followed you in his vehicle, then by foot, and crept up behind you and wouldn't respond when you asked him an honest question, that you would not have your gun drawn in an instant? C'mon--be honest.

How do you know what GZ's response was? You don't. And it is common knowledge in street fighting that you get the person off guard by asking them a question before surprising them with a sucker punch - hence - TM asks "what you followin' me for?" And then the fight was on.

Regardless of who the aggressor is, do you get to straddle some one and put a beat down on them when they are clearly not fighting back and just yelling for help?
Florida law says self defense becomes aggravated battery if you do this.
