Very sad news! A bus driver was distracted by his cellphone that he lost control and crashed into lamppost that fell and hit an 8 months old baby girl today in New Jersey right across New York City. This horrible tragedy could have been avoided if the driver paid attention and not used his cellphone while driving!

Please Do NOT use cellphone while driving! (Whether it is law or not in your state)

Horrible. Turn this idiot over to the family of the baby and let them decide his fate and punishment.

I don't know about drivers in other states, but in Calif, i hate the damn drivers. On their cells, talking or texting, what the hell is wrong with people.

Most of those i see with cells or texting while driving are younger, or people no older then their fiftys.

I have had so many of these idiots not paying attention while texting, not seeing my car and coming into my lane. It is dangerous, sometimes you cannot move over, because of other cars in the opposite lane.

These idiots have gone right thru red lights, or guess this one, the light turns green, but the idiot in front of me, is not moving, makes me crazy, actually makes me want to hit them with a junk car.

I have to honk my horn, and one day when i did the idiot in front of me, flipped me the bird, he rolled down his window, pointed his finger at me, cussing at me, and flipping me off. Like that, the idiot is texting, not moving when the light turns green, and he is flipping me off.

My italian temper was nice on that day, because i thought of some choice italian words for him.

These idiots are not only a danger to themselves, but most likely, to others as in this very sad case.

You know, I might be going on a limb here, but from reading what you wrote, you think that these people are idiots, right?

MADRID—A Spanish train driver was talking on his work cellphone and traveling at nearly twice the recommended speed when the train derailed on a tight curve last week, in Spain's worst rail accident since the 1940s.
The driver, Francisco José Garzón, had received a call from a co-worker at the state rail company, Renfe, minutes before the July 24 wreck near the city of Santiago de Compostela that killed 79 people and injured scores more, a court in the region of Galicia said after reviewing the train's "black box" data recorder.

We have millions of people who are addicted to those things and nothing I could be shown will convince me otherwise.
