Has Texas become a police state? If anyone doubts there is a War On Women in Texas, this is proof positive. It is evident from the videos that the police officers think this is standard procedure as they acknowledge they are on video. They do not believe they are doing anything wrong.

Didn't this happen a number of months ago or is this another case of police abuse.

Uhm a little extreme for littering.. That said it PO's me when I am behind a car when they throw their cigarettes out the window. I bet they think twice about doing that next time.
The cops went over the top and should be held accountable for it. No privacy just out on the road for the world to see. So much for innocent until proven guilty.

That's pretty old news. Texas, NY, CO, NV, DC, FL, CA, LA, GA, IL, and AZ have always been police states by the way.

Same case. The video is dated Dec 2012.

There were two black women who were also subjected to a cavity search in Texas recently. No wonder this state is trying to make abortion illegal, kinda dovetails nicely into stories like this. At least she won 184k for her humiliation.

This is an old video. I remember the rat, cat or whatever it was, running across the road. It would be more instructive if we found out what happened to the cops involved. Every state is now a police state. It's not just Texas. We've had numerous cases of sex abuse by cops in my blue state of WA. It is more a matter of public sector unions than Texas, WA, red or blue.

Both troopers in the first video are fired. In the second video, both are on admin leave and have cases pending against them filed by the DA's office. Hopefully, they'll both be fired, tried...found guilty and then booked and "searched" as they did to the other two women.

"To Protect and Serve"....themselves.

The Texas government makes the Federal government look like child's play when it comes to corruption. That is one nasty side effect of not having term limits on the governor's office here. I can assure you that the war on women is alive and well in this state. Until we get these evangelical conservative nut jobs out of office it will only get worse.

Oh please, this has been going on for a long time. Here's a story from 1998 about US Customs conducting cavity searches on black females. Are you going to tell me that Clinton and his appointee Ray Kelly were pro-life?

This has zip, zero, nada to do with abortion. It's about the police state. We on the right have a way to put a stop to this--it's called limited government. Do you on the left have a way?
