The Guardian article (in the link to explain his school hypocrisy) is pretty interesting - it explains a lot about why Matt Damon is the person he is. Growing up in a commune with a far Left mother who has never read anything unless it's in The Nation. Pretty strong indoctrination from an early age.
His latest movie (according to Damon) is an indoctrination film - it promotes ObamaCare, is about the Evil Rich and throws Comprehensive Immigration a bone also.
Campaigns for Public School teachers (more pay, less accountability), but wouldn't think of sending his kids to a public school.
Spends more than he makes. The Left can be so predictable.

Damon co-founded the safe-water charity water.org, and hopes his children will join him on field trips to Africa when they're older, but he also worries about ending up a Hollywood rentagob activist. "Yeah, there's the people who, you know, feel like, 'Shut up and sing,' " he grins. "People feeling preached to by privileged actors. I get that totally. I don't want some Hollywood actor finger-wagging at me, telling me what I should and shouldn't do."
So says the privileged "finger wagger" - he is well on his way as a "renta-activist."
"Actor Matt Damon is a strong supporter of America's public schools. Just two years ago, the star spoke passionately about the importance of public schools at a Washington DC "Save our Schools" rally.......
".....Damon revealed that he had just moved to Los Angeles from New York, but that he didn't "have a choice" when it came to putting his four daughters into private schools. The multi-millionaire did say that it was 'a major moral dilemma'......."
Now get the reason he used, it's a wowser, LOL
"..... that the public schools aren't "progressive" enough....."
CA public schools aren't Progressive enough? Where's he sending his snowflakes, Trotsky People's School Number 12?
At least that's better than rich Libertarians saying that kids should drop out of university and go to vocational school instead or do nothing, while they send their own kids to Ivy League schools hypocrisy goes both ways, though which one is worse, I wonder . Given the rather lower reading comprehension among certain sectors of the C-D population here, who is worse? The one who says we should support public education and support students going to university while sending his own kids to university or the one that advocates that students shouldn't go to university while sending his own kids in?

That's garbage. You can admit he's a good actor. You're just saying that because he's a Democrat I know your modus operandi
Can you say:
Chuck Norris?
Ted Nugent?
And a whole slew of other celebrities on the right who preach to their masses?
After all, there is NO ONE more hypocritical than the pants crapping serial pedophile draft dodger Nugent.
Or is your outrage reserved for just those celebrities who speak to liberal issues?
feel free to start your own thread.
why do liberal nut-jobs think a "I know you are but what am I " defense is credible ?
you look as petty as obama crying on TV and threatening to take his toys and go home.
Typical action of most White left wingers. I take it this "progressive" school will be lacking in racial and economic diversity as well.
Is it like prominent rich white Libertarians who say we the masses shouldn't bother spending money sending our kids to university, while they themselves shell out tens of thousands to send their own kids to the top private unis?
Typical Liberal...his mother is a public school teacher too....
